The WEYERMANN CARDWORKS website is managed by me, Dale Weyermann. I had planned on starting a company called Weyermann Cardworks that would make and sell custom pop-up cards, and this page would be the official website for that company. As it turns out I now have a domain name, but no pop-up card company. So I am going to use this domain mostly as a way to learn how to create a website. This will cover a lot of territory - my interest in blimps, my career in the US Forest Service, some personal stuff like childhood photos, and of course my interest in pop-up cards.
I registered the name 'WEYERMANN CARDWORKS' with GoDaddy a few years ago. The web-searchable official domain name is WEYERMANNCARDWORKS.COM. But if you go to Google and search for 'weyermann cardworks', you may or may not end up here. There is an annoying credit card servicing company called CARDWORKS that seems to get most of my intended traffic. And believe it or not there is a Card and Stationery website named Weyermann's Whimsey, so if you end up there I encourage you to buy a card or something from her...
Everything I have read says that domain names should be short, and easy to spell. Well, mine isn't...
